The EGIMT Entrance Examination (EEE) is conducted for admission to M.Tech, MBA, and PhD programs in Healthcare Innovation, Medical Technology, and Regulatory Affairs at Erba Global Institute of Medical Technology.

Candidates can appear only once for EEE-2025.

Exam Pattern

There will be a total of 125 questions, divided into the following sections:

Nationality

The applicant for EEE should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder.
NRI applicants can directly apply under 'NRI Category' through NRI application form. (Will be available shortly)
Foreign applicants who studied/studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form. (Will be available shortly)

Passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Master of Science/MBBS/BDS*/ B.Pharm or any equivalent degree.
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.

MBA Programs

MBA in Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship

MBA in Medical Device Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Passed any Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a recognized university.
Obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.

Educational Qualification

A Master’s degree (M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc./M.Pharm/MD/MS, etc.) in the relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per government norms).

Entrance Examination

Candidates must qualify for a university-conducted Ph.D. entrance test or present valid scores from national-level exams like:
- UGC-NET (including JRF) / CSIR-NET
- GATE / GPAT / CAT
- ICMR / ICAR / DBT / DST-Inspire Fellowships (for Science & Technology disciplines)

Interview & Research Proposal:

Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a personal interview where they must present their research interest.
Submission of a preliminary research proposal may be required.

Part-Time Ph.D.

Candidates who are working professionals must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
Minimum work experience of 2 years in relevant industries or academia may be required.

International Candidates

Must have an equivalent degree recognized by the university and provide proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) if applicable.

Admission Procedure

Online Application: Applicants should apply online at www.egimt.edu.in with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2000 (including GST).
Entrance Exam Registration: Candidates must register for the EGIMT Common Entrance Examination (ECEE), a remote proctored online test.
Alternative Score Submission: Candidate with valid Score in entrance test such as the GATE, CAT, MАТ, ХАТ, CMAT, ATMA, State Common Entrance Test scores should also register and appear for ECEE. In that case, 50% weightage is given to GATE, CAT, MAT, ХАТ, СМАТ, АТMA, State Common Entrance Test and rest 50% to weightage to ECEE.However if the applicant doesn't have the valid GATE/CAT scores etc., 100% weightage would be given to the ECEE score.
Shortlist Announcement: The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the website, and notifications will be sent via SMS/E-mail.
Program Selection: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to choose their program.
Advance Payment: Selected candidates must pay an advance commencement fee of Rs. 1 lakh.
Deadline Compliance: Failure to pay the advance before the deadline will result in disqualification from admission.

International Admissions

Eligibility to Apply:

Any foreigner with a valid passport (passport is not mandatory for Nepal and Bhutan candidates).
OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
Indian students whose parents are currently working abroad with a valid work VISA.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting:

Transfer / Migration / College Leaving Certificate obtained from the last institution attended (as applicable).
Student Profile.
Recent passport-size color photos (2 Nos).
Physical Fitness Certificate (Certified by an authorized physician).
Affidavit by the Student - (Signed & Notarized).
Affidavit by the Parent - (Signed & Notarized).
Undertaking form - (Signed by Student & Parent).
Parents' Employer Certificate - (Only for NRI candidates).
Sponsorship letter from parents - (Only for NRI candidates).

Copies of the Following Documents (1 Set):

Admission Letter.
10th grade / O level and 12th grade / A level / Form VI certificates.
UG Consolidated / Semester-wise mark sheets until the final year.
Qualifying UG Degree or Provisional Certificate.
For NRI candidates: Copy of Passport & VISA of their parents.
For Foreign candidates: Copy of Passport & VISA of the applicant.

Eligibility:

Remains the same as for National Applicants.

Notes :

The applicant for admission should be a Resident Indian National and should have graduated from institutions in India.
Foreign and NRI/PIO applicants must apply separately via the International Student Division on the EGIMT website.
No age restrictions apply to the program.
