The AMTZ ecosystem comprises two incubators mentored by manufacturing giants, technology champions, expert researchers and policy makers. These incubators create vibrant start-up ecosystems to develop innovative technologies, solutions for real world challenges in the health care sector. Through these incubators EGIMT, fosters innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting and promoting startups and facilitates students' success.
Funded by NITI Aayog, Government of India, and AMTZ incubator in the country solely focused on medical technology starting from ideation, prototyping, testing, validation, manufacturing and market access. It is the only kind of its kind in the world situated at the EGIMT provides the state-of-the-art infrastructure for functional prototype development but also realizing them as finalized products through manufacturing facilitation
Funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and AMTZ to focus on synergizing medical and allied technologies like pharmacy, Biotech, Nanotechnology, nutritional and other frontiers resulting in convergent technologies for health care. Multi-faceted laboratories are being equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation ranging from ICP-OES, RNA/DNA workstations, biobank and bioreactors.
